Trudy Mackenzie (Singing)

Whose angelic voice is bound to astound, spent her formative years singing in bands from Victoria to Western Australia. A career divergence found her working in the field of medicine, both as a clinician and university lecturer.

In between these demanding occupations she still found time to sing not only as a soloist, but also in various duos, bands and the respected Brisbane Gospel Choir (an experience that Trudy believes was a key element to her current vocal style).

She brings an exuberant sense of fun and is a sparkling presence on stage.

In 2004, Trudy joined musical forces with her husband Shane Pacey (front man for Bondi Cigars), to form "Mackenzie/Pacey", an Acoustic Duo who have released their latest CD, titled "Monkey Business".

The Duo has enabled Trudy to spread her song writing wings, and has given her the opportunity to play percussion and bass guitar.

Trudy brings her passion for music, 20 years experience as a professional musician, a great sense of humour and her philosophy of sharing her skills, which she believes to be of the utmost importance.

This combination will only serve to benefit her students
